Sniffing Out The Best Hot Sauce Brands!
My name is Borre, and I guess you could say I’m the top dog around here. It’s my job to sniff out the finest hot sauce brands from around the world, and bring them back to you.
People always ask how I got into this business, so here’s the story: It all started one day when I was just a little puppy, minding my own business and digging in the garden, one of my people threw a red pepper at me, I caught it, tossed it around for a while, and then chomped down and ate it. In that instant, I discovered my true mission in life.
Although my journey began with a simple, but delicious bell pepper, I soon discovered the wonders of Jalapeño and the charm of Chipotle, Habanero, Poblano, and of course, Serrano, Tobasco, and Cayenne. But it was only after I started exploring beyond the farthest reaches of the neighborhood, that I developed a discerning taste for some of the more exotic peppers the world has to offer, including Scotch Bonnet, Pirri Pirri, Thai, and Naga Jolokia.
These days, my travels take me to faraway and exotic places like Costa Rica, Jamaica, and even Texas. Sometimes I’m gone for days, but eventually I find my way home. That’s when the party really begins! (In spite of all the attention that goes along with being the world’s leading expert on fine dining, ethnic foods, exotic taste, and world cuisine, in my heart I’m still just a down-home chili dawg.)
My people always throw a big backyard barbeque so they can share my latest discoveries with their chili-head friends. It didn’t take long for word to spread, but it soon got to be a little more than their backyard could handle. So I suggested that we put it all online — along with my favorite recipes —
and then let everyone help themselves.
So now, my people take care of the business side of things, which leaves me free to do what I do best, which is hunt, fetch, and dig.
In my travels, I have learned that everything in life comes down to these three things:

- Good Times
- and Good Food!
